On Vacation 5/20-5/23

Yep, I'm heading out for a family vacation. I plan on still writing everything down and posting all of it next week, too.

I know I will be eating a few bad things while I'm gone, but I plan on keeping them to a minimum. I hope to get some exercise in as well. We are taking our tennis rackets and bathing suits.

Eat well & exercise lots while I'm gone!

Week 4, Day 4

Food:
Breakfast: 3 Slices Turkey Bacon
Snack: String Cheese & Banana
Lunch: Chicken Salad on Wheat Bun & Salad w/ Cheese, Sunflower Seeds, FF Ranch
Snack: 1/4 Cup Almonds/Cashews
Dinner: Moe's - Chicken & Rice Burrito w/ Little Guac & Sour Cream, Cheese, Lettuce
Snack: none

Water: 3 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Exercise:

Planned: Softball Game
Actual: None - Game Cancelled, spent evening cleaning & packing

My Thoughts:
I secretly hope it rains all day and our game is cancelled b/c I have entirely too much to do before going on vacation tomorrow.

Week 4, Day 3

Food:
Breakfast: 3 Slices Turkey Bacon
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Mt. Fuji Japanese - 1/2 Piece Egg Roll, Soup (Broth), Hibachi Shrimp, Fried Rice, Veggies
Snack: none
Dinner: Penn Station - Sml. Reuben, Few Fries
Snack: none

Water: 3.5 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Exercise:

Planned: Cardio/Walk Doggies
Actual: Walk Doggies

My Thoughts:
Tonight might not be a good night. Eric had someone tell him he might want to show up for the men's softball game tonight at 6:00. (They are 0-3) If Eric plays everyone goes to the bar (who we play for) afterwards, so we may be there. Same w/ tomorrow b/c we have a COED game. I'll eat the best I can though. Plus as you can see we are having an unhealthy lunch.

Ended the day w/ a not so good dinner. Shame on me!

Week 4, Day 2

Food:
Breakfast: 2 Slices Wheat Toast w/ Peanut Butter
Snack: Banana & String Cheese
Lunch: Chicken Salad on Wheat Bun, Salad w/ Little Cheese, Sunflower Seeds & FF Ranch
Snack: 1/4 Cup Almond/Cashew Mix
Dinner: Teriyaki Chicken, Corn, Salad w/ Little Cheese, Sunflower Seeds & FF Ranch
Snack: none

Water: 3.5 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Planned: Upper & Cardio/Walk Doggies
Actual: Upper & Walk Doggies

My Thoughts:
I'm feeling pretty good about my eating at the moment. I finished my 2 waters during work and have to fill up from the drinking fountain now. Yucky. O'well, I suppose water is water. It's funny how some days its all I can do to finish 2 waters at work; other days I drink like 3 or more especially if I have tea.

Dinner: Bean Burrito w/ Little Sour Cream

Water: 3.5 Waters, 1/2 Cinnamon Hot Tea w/ Honey, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Planned: Lower & Cardio/Walk Doggies
Actual: Lower & Walk Doggies

My Thoughts:
So I intended yesterday to be better until we went out to eat for lunch. Ugh. I didn't eat too much the rest of the day though, so it wasn't a total blowout. Today thru Wednesday should be good no doubt. Thursday we have a softball game right after work, so I'm sure we'll eat out. Gotta make better choices though. Ugh! I'm definately ready to get back in the gym routine though!

Back to the gym was great. I'm still not 100% yet. I had a little problem w/ the leg press, but managed to get through all 3 sets. The glute machine was even worse so I only did 2 sets. Of course I'm not even attempting abs until next week. Overall not a bad night though.

Actual: Shopping & Running Errands...

My Thoughts:So I thought I was back in the game a few days ago, but apparently not. I for sure back now. I'm not pleased w/ my weight, but I guess should be a little happy that I didn't gain any more than that. Ugh! I've felt horrible eating the way I have the past week, but just continued. Why? Ugh! We are going to the gym and grocery shopping today and are getting good foods for the rest of the week. Also will be taking vacation Friday-next Monday, but will be able to eat good during it.
