Lunch: Cambell's Soup at Hand - Chicken w/ Mini Noodles (should be not "many" noodles) - Nutrition 80 Calories, 1.5g Fat, 980 Sodium, 12g Carb, 4g Protein
Snack: 1/2 Cup Strawberries
Dinner: Chips (#?) & Salsa & Little cheese dip, Bean burrito w/ little sour cream & rice

Actual: None - Switched to Sunday

Comments:
After reading everyone's blog this morning I decided Starbucks sounded like a great idea. I do feel guilty about it, but will do an extended cardio tonight to somewhat make up for it. Don't plan on drinking the entire thing, but I'm not done yet, so can't tell you how much I actuall drank! I did however get non-fat, which is a first for me and you don't really taste much difference. OK, I drank more than I intended (3/4), but oh well!

I ate most of my grapes until I realized a few were moldy. Got my dose of peniccilin today.

Oh and when I got to work this morning, guess what was on my desk?! 2 Boxes of Girl Scout Cookies (1-Thin Mint, 1-Peanut Butter) that I ordered before this whole diet thing. How do you eat those in moderation? You can't eat just one! I haven't had any today though. Eric says I have to freeze the thin mints until after the competition in April... Hmmmm... I'm not so sure about that...

Actually read on one of the diet sites I read that this isn't that bad for you. I'd agree besides the sodium. Probably should have brought some extra protein to through in. Didn't have anything prepared for lunch though this morning so I just threw it together. Could have been worse!

Strawberries might have been bad, too, but I didn't see any mold so I went ahead and ate them. Hope I don't get sick this weekend, but then we'll know why. :)

Barely got 2 waters in at work today. It was a struggle chugging it before I left for work! I did it though. Now to get at least 2 more in this evening!

BAD dinner, no excuse!

Switched Cardio to Sunday. Thought I would do some yoga exercises, but ended up being on the computer til about 11 pm.

Comments:
A little self motivation...I've lost .5 lb. Need to kick it up if I'm going to lose another 1.5 by March 1.

Leaving at 2:30 to head to the dentists' office (look for update in main blog later tonight) so I won't be having an afternoon snack. Although after the dentist I might eat some jello b/c we might try to hit the gym early so we make sure to get both it and some horizontal cardio in before the Thursday night TV shows. Isn't that bad? Eric thinks it's the end of the world. I told him he could TiVo them if he really wants to. I think he just likes to hear my say I don't want to miss those Thurs. shows. ;)

Actual: Awesome Upper & 20 Min Treadmill

Comments:
Lunch was awesome. Probably not the greatest health wise, but at least I didn't get a cream sauce nor did I eat the 2 slices of garlic bread that was with it. And I got salad instead of the cream of broccoli soup. Thankfully having a lite dinner tonight, plus doing upper AND cardio.

>I'm gonna be sore tomorrow! I had an awesome upper body workout tonight. I'm doing all free weights now instead of 1/2 on machines. I switched the chest press, shoulder press, and flies to free weights and boy are my arms/shoulders already sore. I love it though! Hopefully it keeps up and I can get back to feeling like I have a good upper body workout. Tried jogging on treadmill again tonight and even stretched prior, but shins still hurt so I just walked briskly. I felt like I still got a good workout. I tried to focus more on my strides and squeezing my butt cheeks rather than speed. :)

Overall not too bad of day. Not sure how healthy the california rolls are so if anyone knows let me know. I don't imagine they are horrible for you, but I'm sure at least bad in the sodium area. I'm going to have to do a little searching tomorrow. If you happen to know leave me a comment and let me know how they rate.

Comments:
I was feeling a little down today. Kitten came in so well with her weigh as did Jennifer. I really need to get my butt in gear literally now. I'm still proud that I've lost 5.5 pounds overall and that's good.

Some thoughts: I think I'm lacking in the cardio area and I think that's why I'm not losing the weight as fast as I was at first. I'm working on that this week. I tried BFL cardio and it was good except my shins were killing me. I'm going to try to do some sort of intensity with the treadmill this week and see if I can come up with a good plan. Maybe we just need to go longer (30-40 minutes). That seems most likely right now. I would like to try to at least jog some of it, too. I did that on Sunday and it went ok. I just went back to walking fast when my shins started hurting.

I feel good about the weight lifting part of my workout though. I've been doing them well and this past week really focused on making sure I was really concentrating on the area I was working and doing my reps slowly. I felt more burn when I did this. Yesterday I went through my workout and increased several of my weights. I'm also thinking about changing up some of my upper body workouts b/c I don't feel like I'm getting a great workout there. It's good, just not great. I do really enjoy my lower and think it is a good routine though.

I've lost a total of 5.5 lbs overall and 4 overall for the GWO competition. It looks like Jen & I are tied right now and Kitten... Well she lost 4 pounds in 1 week. She's at 6 pounds lost total, but this competition is definitely not over yet! In fact, we are all really neck and neck and it should be a TOUGH competition. We have 8 weeks left of the competition so it's anyone's game at this point. I'm so proud of all of us though. Overall we've lost 14 GWO pounds!

Got some almonds over the weekend, which make a GREAT snack. They are balanced in carbs and protein and are just plain good for ya. However, picked up salted ones without thinking. Darn. Next time I will get unsalted ones.

I'm windy today!

Overall good workout today. I really concentrated on what muscle I was working and concentrated on my reps. It felt good.

Actual: 25 Min. Treadmill

Comments:
Lost 1 pound this week. I'm ok with that considering I haven't had the best week w/ few days of eating out. Don't think I'll lose 4.5 lbs in a little over a week though. Goal is to lose 2 pounds this week. Really need to be strict with myself though. Plan to sit down today and figure out this weeks meals. Only eating out dinner Wednesday and lunch Thursday, plus 1 time on the weekend. Only allowing 1 bad meal which will probably be Wednesday night at DPs and it won't be horribly bad. I know I have a work luncheon on Tuesday, but hope to just get a salad or something lite. If that luncheon goes bad I will really restrict myself on Wednesday night at DPs.

Shins were bothering me so I didn't jog much. Just walked fast. Think I need to work up to jogging.
