Comments:

Already know my lunch today and Friday will be not something I bring to work. Today Eric and I are going to El Rodeo (mexican) and tomorrow we are taking our computer guy out for lunch for his last day. The good thing about Friday is that we are going to Lafayette Brewing Company and I can get a bison burger. Those are so good! Decided to go to Subway tonight, too.

Too many carbs at lunch again, but it just happens when you go out to eat.

Comments:

Didn't feel as low on energy today. Finished my workout, which is nice. I know I dread upper body b/c there are 5 sets of workouts whereas lower only has 3. I'm going to try really hard to get all of my upper body workouts in on Friday (or Saturday) depending on the HPT results...

Exercise:

Rest of Upper Body & Cardio

Did 10 minutes on stepper and napped for 30 minutes. Still don't have a ton of energy.

Comments:

Hopefully today will be better than yesterday in the energy part.

Was thinking that my clothing size hasn't really changed even though I've lost 7 pounds. I can tell I've lost a little in my waist. I suppose my hips, rear, thighs will be the hardest to get rid of. I feel like they are getting a little more toned, but haven't really seen any drastic changes. Maybe they just have to get used to getting worked out. I'm sure it will take more than 3 weeks to get them in shape, too. And being it's my problem area, I am probably trying harder to notice changes there...

Week 4 - Day 22

Breakfast: 4 Pieces Turkey Bacon on 1 Piece Wheat Bread
Snack: String Cheese & Kiwi
Lunch: Steak, Corn, Green Beans
Snack: String Cheese & Strawberries
Dinner: Chicken Tenders, Baked Potato w/ Spray Butter, Cauliflower, Salad w/ FF Ranch
Snack:

Water: 5

Exercise:

Upper Body - Only did Chest & Biceps. Don't have the energy to do anything else. Will try to do the other parts of upper tomorrow.

Comments:

Updated ending Wk 3/Starting Wk 4 stats. Feel pretty good about them. Lost the following:
total of 7 pounds
.5" Chest
2" Waist
.25" Calf

No change in bicep and hips and added 1" in thigh. I think I might have measured my thigh wrong in the beginning b/c I feel like they are getting more toned. I guess it could be that I've turned the fat to muscle, too so that might be it. Not really sure. I'm 3 pounds and 3 weeks away from my goal of 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I know I can make it, that is if I don't get a positive pregnancy test this Friday. I'd really much rather get a positive than lose more weight, but hey! I'll be anxious to take my picture on Sunday and see if I can visually see any changes that way. I sure hope so. Eric has definitely noticed my belly, which is nice.

Can't believe this is week 4 already! I feel a lot better about my body already!

Having hot flashes and couldn't wait til 3 for my afternoon snack. Gave in by 2:40 and ate.

Going grocery shopping for a few things right after work.

Felt drained when I got home although it started at work this afternoon. Wasn't so much tired as I just didn't have energy...

Sunday, January 25, 2004

Week 3 - Day 21

Snack: String Cheese & Kiwi
Lunch: Chicken Chow Mein
Snack: String Cheese & Strawberries
Dinner: Fish & Baked Potato
Snack: 3 Pieces Turkey on 1 Piece Wheat Bread, Little Light Mayo

Water: 6

Exercise:

Lower Body & Cardio - Good workout on Lower Body. Will probably increase weight after this week. Only did 15 minutes of cardio, but worked up a pretty good sweat.

Comments:

Doing stats today, too.

Gordon's Garlic Butter Fish are not very tasty. I choked it down, but yuck. Threw that leftover away.
