Week 5, Day 5

Food:
Breakfast: 1 Cup Raisin Bran w/ Milk
Snack: String Cheese & Strawberries
Lunch: Lean Hamburger on Wheat, Salad w/ Cheese, Grape Tomatoes, & FF Ranch
Snack: 1/4 Cup Almonds & Cashews
Dinner: Moe's - Chicken & Rice Burrito w/ Lettuce, Little Sour, Little Guac, Few Chips & Cheese Dip
Snack: none

Water: 3.5 Waters, + Vitamin

Exercise:

Planned: Upper & Cardio
Actual: Cardio

My Thoughts:
PMS hit me hard tonight. I was a real grouch and just wanted to go to bed. Ugh!

Week 5, Day 4

Food:
Breakfast: 3 Slices Turkey Bacon, Small Non-Fat Mocha
Snack: Cottage Cheese & Strawberries
Lunch: BW3s - Grilled Chicken Salad w/ Little Cheese, Few Crutons, FF Ranch
Snack: 1/4 Cup Cashews & Almonds
Dinner: Homemade Taco Salad w/ 2 Shells, Taco Meat, Lettuce, Cheese, Salsa & Little Sour Cream
Snack: none

Water: 3 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Exercise:

Planned: Lower & Cardio
Actual: None

My Thoughts:
I snuck a mid-week peak at the scale.... Drum roll please... I got over my hump of 139. My weight this morning was 138! Woohoo!!! I needed that extra motivation for my usual lunch out w/ Eric today.

Feeling good about going to the gym tonight.

Should not have got the mocha, but needed a little pick me up. It's been a while since I got one and it's going to be a while before I get another. Ugh!

Special thanks to Kitten for "125 Best Foods". Yes I know it says for men, but it's from Men's Health Magazine, so what do you expect? I already eat a few things on there, but it also gave me some ideas for a couple new things especially for breakfast, which is the hardest for me!

Yay! Good on the water so far today!

Not good on exercise. Watched a movie instead of going to gym. Ugh!

Week 5, Day 3

Food:
Breakfast: 1 Slice Wheat Toast w/ Peanut Butter
Snack: String Cheese & Banana
Lunch: Salad w/ Chicken Strips, Cheese, Sunflower Seeds, Grape Tomatoes, FF Ranch
Snack: 1/4 Cup Almonds & Cashews
Dinner: 6" Chicken Breast on Wheat w/ Lettuce, Tomato, Black Olives, Jalapenos
Snack: none

Water: 3 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Planned: Upper & Cardio
Actual: Cardio

My Thoughts:
Can't decide whether to do lower or upper tonight at the gym. I really got a nice lower workout in from the game yesterday, but I think I'll wait to see how I feel towards the afternoon. Will probably do upper though.

Decided to do upper tonight, probably the best choice. I hope to add some cardio in as well, even if it's 10-20 minutes. Gotta get back in that routine. If we don't do it at the gym, I'd like to do my stepper at home before bed.

Decided not to go to gym b/c we had other stuff we needed to get done around the house and I walked around the neighborhood for around 1 hour w/ a neighbor. Don't feel too bad about it though. Will get back to gym tomorrow for sure.

Dinner: Turkey Sandwich w/ Little Lite Mayo, Salad w/ FF Ranch & Grape Tomatoes, 1/2 Cup Cottage Cheese
Snack: none

Water: 3 Waters, 1 Milk + Vitamin

Planned: Softball Game
Actual: Softball Game

My Thoughts:
I lied, we are not talking about what I ate over my vacation, b/c my mind decided it was a vacation and I ate just about whatever I wanted. I did get quite a bit of exercise in though I will say. (3 rounds of putt-putt & lots of walking including hiking w/ stairs & hills) All this being said that must have saved me b/c when I weighed in this morning I weighed 139.5 I thought for sure I'd gain at least a little. I'm happy w/ that though. I'm in total lose weight mode now. I think I needed a little time off. I felt gross all weekend after eating and started having some stomach problems again. But I'm back on track now.

Had a good softball game. Played catcher, which I was NOT happy about at first, but I am a new player and they can't just screw an old member, so it was ok. At least I was getting a good butt workout. Although I'm sure my legs will look like I've been beaten tomorrow as I bruise easily enough. Ugh!
