Week 1 - Day 6 - Free Day

Breakfast: Biscuits & Gravy
Snack: none
Lunch: Chips & Salsa, Chicken Fajita, Onions, Green Peppers w/out Tortilla, Lettuce, Sour Cream
Snack: Grande Cafe Mocha
Dinner: 2 Thin slices of Prime Rib, 1/4 Chicken Breast stuffed w/ Dressing, Sml. Portion Mashed Potatoes, Strawberries, 4 Bites of Chocolate Cake
Snack: none

Water: at least 7

Exercise: none

Comments: Tried to be fairly good today. Felt sorta guilting, but overall it wasn't too bad except for the Grande Mocha.

Week 1 - Day 5

Breakfast: 1 Egg, 1 Piece Wheat Bread
Snack: Cottage Cheese & Kiwi
Lunch: Chicken, Rice, Salad w/ FF Catalina
Snack: Shake
Dinner: Popcorn Chicken Salad w/ FF Ranch
Snack: (Optional) none

Water: 5

Exercise: Lower Body - Good workout. Still a little sore, but I again, pushed myself to complete all the reps and the required weight.

Comments:
I must confess. I weighed myself this morning and weighed 138.5. Not sure exactly what that means, but I feel pretty good about it. That is 5 pounds less than what I weighed Sunday. I decided it was better to weigh before my free day, but I'm sure I'll weigh after, too.

Dinner: Chicken marinated in FF Italian Dressing and WAY too much Rosemary, Baked Potato & Cauliflower

Exercise: Pushed myself to do the whole 20 minutes on the stepper, Abs - part of Ab Boot Camp

Missed a snack today, but not on purpose. Have you ever heard of a Detour Bar molding? Well, mine did! Yuck!

Exercise: Upper Body - Didn't push myself as much as I could have. Gotta increase a few things for next time.

Comments: Lower is still pretty sore this morning. Thankfully I'm doing upper tonight.

Snack: 1/2 Detour Bar
Dinner: Steak, Red Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad w/ little FF Catalina
Snack: (Optional) Beef Jerky & Banana

Exercise: My legs are like jelly today and I love it! 10 Minutes on Stepper. I could have and probably should have went 20 minutes, but my lower is so sore and I thought I better get into this a little slower. Maybe next week. I did hit my goal though!

Comments: Yay! Day 1 went well. Threw out the oranges! Turned down Don Pablos for dinner tonight! Will switch my free day to Saturday instead of Sunday this week since we have Eric's holiday party and also we may go to C'ville to have lunch with grandparents Paddack before they leave for Florida.

WOW! Was going thru some old BFL stuff and found my stats back in May 03. Holy crap have I gained all over since then! Gross!! If that isn't incentive I don't know what is!! Taking my pic tonight so I can see my fat live!

I only ate 1/2 of my detour bar, but that is okay b/c it's more like a snack than a dinner. 15 g Protein vs. 30 g Protein. So far, VERY good day again. Gotta get my waters in this afternoon.

Just found out we have a Holiday Party tomorrow, but we get to run home and make a grilled ham and cheese before we go. The hard part is not eating all those bad things at the party. I can do it.

Exercise: 35 min. Lower Body - Awesome burn! I love it!

Comments: So starts the diet! I have my meals pretty much planned out for the week. Thursday lunches might be difficult b/c I have lunch w/ Eric, but I will stick to it. Saturday might be a little difficult, too, b/c we have Eric's company holiday party, but again I will stick to it!

I'm going to start out with 6 week goals, but plan on completing the 12 weeks. I can do this. I will do this. I have the motivation!

Messed up my first snack b/c the orange was bad! Ugh.

Copied Jen and removed the bad girl section. We are going to be good girls! Yay!

Tomorrow starts a new chapter in my life

After a horrible last couple of weeks of eating through the holidays, I am very enthusiastic about starting BFL tomorrow. I've got my eating plan for this week planned out and am going to work on my workout plan tonight and tomorrow. I lost a little bit just doing the eating and definitely felt much better doing the eating. I didn't really notice it until AFTER I stopped eating right. I topped off today with some cool ranch doritos and tiramasu ice-cream. I think Eric is even going to do some workouts with me! Yay!

First thing in the morning I am going to dump my candy out of my candy dish and desk at work. NO TEMPTATION! I'm throwing out the rest of the tiramasu ice cream when I'm done here, too. I know I'm going to get a little discouraged b/c Eric isn't doing the food plan and doesn't eat any red meat or fish, so I'm going to try to cook them at night and have them as leftovers for lunch and just do chicken most evenings. I am giong to stick with this though.

I WANT TO BE MORE HEALTHY, BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY!!
