Week 8, Day 6

My Thoughts:
Slept in a little this morning. Cooked a healthy breakfast for us. Eric went out to mow and when he gets back in we are going to the gym. Will get cardio in this evening when we walk around "Taste" downtown.

My Thoughts:
My morning didn't go very well. Thought I had lunch for today, but realized I had ate it the other day, so I had to whip up some chicken salad really quick. Also had to put the clean dishes in the dishwasher up and put the dirty ones into the dishwasher b/c we are having company this evening. Plus, I had a whole sink full of dirty dishes and a coupld were getting a little ripe. Thus I didn't have time to make anything quick for breakfast, so I just grabbed a bagel at work. Luckily I brought my lite cream cheese in yesterday, so I saved a few cals.

Will be so glad for next week to roll around. We are absolutely exhausted from all the running we've done all week and I'm sick of eating out! Tonight I plan on just getting a salad from somewhere. I know tomorrow's dinner will not be great, so I plan on eating super light for lunch tomorrow.

Grandparents stayed later than expected (which was fine), but it was too late to hit the gym. Didn't get as many waters in today either. Although I spent 2 on my desk this afternoon, so I attempted... :)

Lunch: LBC - Southwest Chicken Wrap, Few Pepper Fries

Dinner: Subway 6" Chicken Breast on Wheat w/ Lettuce, Tomato, Black Olives, Sweet Peppers

My Thoughts:
Feeling my workout from yesterday today. Feels pretty good though. Have a softball game tonight and I hope I'm catching again. Lunch is out w/ Eric today and I told him we had to get something healthy. Not sure what that will be. Also have to run errands before our game tonight, so will probably grab something out for dinner again, too. Next week we will be back on the eating at home regime. We have had something going on every single night this week so far and it won't stop til Sunday night. Ugh! It's exhausting, too.

Dinner: Chicken & Rice Burrito w/ Lettuce, Cheese, Little Guac, Little Sour, Chips & Little Cheese Dip

My Thoughts:
The shop in our building is open again, so I will be drinking hot green tea like mad again. Unfortunately I'll be getting bagels again on occassion, however tomorrow I'm bringing in Lite Cream Cheese to help a little and I won't be getting them every day either.

Bought some egg whites last night and some "organic" hash browns. I also have potatoes that I can cut up into little pieces to make hash browns, too. I think I'll make it on the weekend first and see how long its going to take instead of having a seriously bad morning. :D

Finishing up my workout routine today at work for tonight. I'm really excited about the lower body portion, but not sure about the upper body. We'll see how it goes tonight though and make adjustments if needed before Saturday's workout.

Brought a kiwi for my afternoon snack/carb, but it was really hard, so I had to throw it away. Ugh!

Oh my goodness was my workout rough! I hope it gets better after a week or so of doing it. Here is what I did:

I was so freaking exhausted when I got home. It definitely works your muscles pretty hard and gets your heart rate up. I thought I was going to have a heart attack by the time I was done. :) Then I went home and got some horizontal cardio.

Actual: None unless Training w/ Godiva and BDing counts

My Thoughts:
Having lunch w/ my old boss today, but I told her we had to go somewhere that I can eat something healthy. I'm so freaking exhausted from the concert last night! Coffee was not an option this morning, but a necessity! Bought a blueberry muffin, too, but haven't eaten it yet.

I did pull out a pair of capris that I bought on our honeymoon and am wearing them today! Yay! I'm back to very close to the size I was for our wedding. At least w/in a few pounds. Kick ass!

Going grocery shopping right after work and then we have Godiva's school soon after, so we can't go to the gym (even if we weren't exhausted). It will be everything we do to get a BD in before we crash!

Very proud of myself for lunch today. We went to this italian place where I could have easily ordered pasta, pizza, calzone, etc., etc. and I ordered a salad and water. Then my sister offered to get me DQ and I happily passed. I gotta hit my 1 pound goal this week if not more.

Actual: Concert - 3 Hours of Dancing

My Thoughts:
Proud that I met my goal of losing 2 lbs this week. I knew I could do it. Disappointed that I didn't finish the weekend off well, but I knew going in that it was really busy. Won't be hitting the gym tonight or tomorrow night. I will be starting the total body (2/WK) & Cardio (6/WK) on Wednesday this week. My goal this week is 1 pound only b/c I'm not starting the week very well. Realistically I could pretty easily get another 2 pounds, but I don't want to get to far ahead of myself!

We stopped an bought some Am*ish Strawberries on Friday and they are so good! I can't wait til people start picking their gardens and start selling them on the side of the road and at the fa*rmer's market. Yum! I said I was going to stop last year every time we drove by and didn't. I vow to get lost of fresh veggies this year!

I didn't do great yesterday evening, but it could have been MUCH worse! I thought I wasn't getting any exercise, but I got 3 hours of dancing in. That should could for something right? ABSOLUTELY!

My Thoughts:

Weigh In: 137
I accomplished my goal for the week (lose 2 pounds). I probably would have lost another if I didn't do some bad things over the weekend, but I'll take 2 any day!

Don't have my total body workout finished yet, but will do as much as possible today. Have the lower down, but not upper.

Had a very busy day. Wasn't able to hit the gym or the grocery store. :(
